CEBU CITY, Philippines – Lawyer Persida Acosta, head of the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO), said that they will be filing a supplemental case against suspects in the killing of Christine Lee Silawan.
Acosta, who was in Cebu today, April 2, said that they will base their supplemental case on the result of the autopsy that members of their forensic team conducted on Silawan and eye witness accounts.
She told Cebu media in an interview this afternoon that they have “very credible” witnesses that will ensure conviction of two to three suspects in Silawan’s rape-slay.

“We will solve this case as soon as possible. We will file a case within this month in support of the investigation of the PNP and NBI,” Acosta said.
But she did not answer when asked if the 17-year-old suspect, who was earlier arrested by the National Bureau of Investigation in Central Visayas (NBI-7), was among the suspects that they have identified in their investigation.
