Cebu City, Philippines — Similarly to Christine Lee Silawan, the 14-year-old girl found dead inside a septic at a school in Danao City last Monday, April 8, died due to multiple stab wounds.
Thesa Marie Ygay received 23 stab wounds on her head, neck, extremities, and trunk, according to the autopsy results of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Crime Laboratory in Central Visayas.
Ygay also sustained 12 incised wounds in different parts of the body.

Findings of the PNP Crime Laboratory-7 also confirmed that Ygay was not pregnant, debunking unofficial reports circulating that the victim was bearing a child.

Meanwhile, police are still on the hunt for the suspect behind the killing of Ygay, identified as Jessie Medequillo.
Medequillo, who is 34 years old, worked as a security guard in Cogon Cruz Integrated School in Barangay Cogon Cruz, Danao City. /bmjo
