CEBU CITY, Philippines – Travellers will never get bored when at the Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT).

Jonathan Tumulak, CSBT manager, said they added two additional wifi routers to give commuters free Internet access while they wait for their bus rides.

The two new routers were made operational starting today, April 15. These were in addition to the terminal’s existing router, Tumulak said.

He said that travellers can also use the free Internet connection to get traffic updates in Cebu City and in their destinations.

Tumulak said that he already requested the different Local Government Units in southern Cebu to constantly post traffic updates to especially notify travellers and commuters of the traffic situation in their respective localities.

At the same time, this can also be used to help spot and immediately share to the CSBT’s Facebook page any suspicious looking individuals or activities at the terminal’s premise during the Holy Week travel rush.

Among nakita nga epektibo siya, kay kung naay makita nga lahi ang mga pasahero pwede nila ireport dayon (We believe that this is an effective tool (against criminality) because commuters can immediately report any suspicious-looking individuals),” he said./dcb
