CEBU CITY, Philippines — A happy birthday song, a dance number and a song number greeted reelectionist Senator Paulo Benigno “Bam” Aquino as he visited the over 80 children in conflict with the Law (CICL) residents in the Cebu City Operation Second Chance Center (CCOSCC)on Tuesday, May 7.
The senator paid a visit at the youth care facility in Barangay Kalunasan in Cebu City to celebrate his 42nd birthday.
(We thought of spending time with children in conflict with our justice system, and we thought of visiting here to celebrate my birthday with the kids whom we hope will soon have a chance to have a new life.)

Despite having been implicated in crimes at an early point in their lives, Aquino said it is still not late for these children to become “the hope of the nation.”
(I saw that most of them, even though they had done bad things, I believe they can still be rehabilitated.) |dbs
