Cebu City, Philippines—An alleged pimp was shot dead along General Maxilom Avenue here on Wednesday dawn, May 15, 2019.
Police master sergeant Gerry Genilaso of the Fuente Police (Station 2), the investigator on the case, said they have yet to establish the identity of the victim.
However, initial investigation revealed that the victim is a known pimp in the area named “Danica.”
The police, based on witnesses accounts, said that the victim was standing at the side of the road when a man on a motorcycle stopped in front of him.
The victim reportedly approached the man and shortly after, a burst of gunfire was heard. The victim was then found sprawled on the side of the road.
The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
The police are still trying to establish the motive of the shooting. /bmjo
