Cebu’s bet in Mr. Fahrenheit 2020 determined to bounce back

CEBU CITY, Philippines—Even though he was not able to win the 2020 Mr. Fahrenheit crown, Virgilio “Verge” Llego is still grateful for the experience and is even more determined to strive for future competitions.

Llego, who used to be a farmer in Argao town, southern Cebu, placed fourth in the a pageant exclusive for gay men and bisexuals. The 2020 edition was held last February 8, 2020, at the F. Club Tomas Morato in Quezon City.

“It’s my first time to join a gay pageant, [I] need more training for a comeback,” he said. “I won’t stop until I win a title for Cebu. It’s my goal to represent Cebu in the international arena,” Llego said.

Aside from being the fourth placer for Mr. Fahrenheit 2020, Llego also took home the award in Best in Swimwear.

Llego told CDN Digital that it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for him to share the stage with veteran and successful contestants, which is the reason why he is even more determined to continue training to be ready for his next competitions.

Llego also thanks his family and fans for the support during the competition.

“First, thank you una sa tanang  mga Sugbuanon  na na support naku. To my family na ni support naku, lalo na sa akung mga igsoon na lipay kaayo sa akung naabot because they know kung unsa akung pangandoy sa kinabuhi,” said the 26-year-old Llego.
