Phoenix has traded Calvin “The Beast” Abueva to the Magnolia Pambansang Manok, said a report from PBA’s website on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
The Fuel Masters reportedly shipped the hardworking forward to the Pambansang Manok in exchange for Chris Banchero and two draft picks.
According to the PBA.PH report, the Fuel Masters acquired Magnolia’s first round pick (sixth overall) as well as its second-round draft rights (18th pick overall) in the March 14 Draft.
On the other hand, Magnolia also got Phoenix’s first round pick (10th overall) along with Abueva.
The report said the trade has been approved by the PBA.
Abueva just signed a fresh 3-year contract with Phoenix almost two-months ago.
