CEBU CITY, Philippines— What do you miss most about a trip to downtown Cebu City?
Is it the busy streets, the swarm of people you pass by, or the nightly mayhem we are all so excited about— the night market?
One thing’s for sure, the night market along Colon Street in Cebu City was very popular because of the many delicious food and items we all can buy at affordable prices.
CDN Digital took a trip down memory lane in our “Memory Monday,” showing some of the best shots our ka-Siloy Ariel Alegado took in December 2019 before COVID-19 came.
The photos showed the famous street food such as saang, kwek-kwek, crab meat, ginabot, tempura, dynamite, and barbecue.
After sharing the photos on our Facebook page on Monday morning, a lot of netizens reminisced and shared their favorite food and experiences from the Colon Night Market on the comments section too.
Here are some of them:
This is just one of the many things we miss doing.
But don’t worry, as long as we work harder together in containing the spread of this virus like get vaccinated, we might just get to see our favorite night market again.
