Colorful bean bags instead of swivel chairs, yoga mats if you prefer to squat, puzzles, stress balls among others can be found in the meeting room. Most of all, there is wifi connectivity to ensure seamless communication or research.
Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu offers what is called the Brain Box Breakout Room, a venue where new experience meetings can be held. Experience meetings are customized and revolve around brain food, brain box and free wifi.
Last July 10, Cebu Daily News led by Inquirer Group executives held its monthly mancom meeting at the Radisson Blu. It was actually an experience meeting in an unconventional setup.
Although the meeting started after lunch, none of the officers and executives felt sleepy.
Radisson Blu, in a press statement, said each meal “is well-researched and prepared by executive chef Frederic Cyr from farm to table together with nutritional experts from different parts of the globe to keep sugar levels constant in order to fuel the mind for a longer period of time.”
It added that “Brain Food for Meetings serve fresh, well-balanced and locally-sourced low fat and low-sugar produce.”
Lunch included salad greens, broccoli with nuts, salmon, beef with mushrooms, pasta with nuts, vegetables, grilled chicken. Healthy desserts like ginger and walnut cake were also served.
Snack food included grilled sandwiches, nuts and fruits, fruit smoothies, granola bars dipped in dark chocolate.
Meanwhile, equipped with flexible furniture, Brain Box “inspires active engagement based on the four different learning styles – visual, kinesthetic, tactile and auditory.”
The experience meetings are fit for 30 persons.
