City Administrator Floro Casas, Jr., said that there is no definite date yet for the return of the mayor, but they expect his return this month.
The mayor was meeting the department heads to be apprised of the city’s situation and the concerns surrounding the COVID-19. surge.
Casas said that the mayor’s instruction to them was to handle the surge and provide as much assistance to Vice Mayor Michael Rama during these trying times.
Rama is currently serving as acting mayor on behalf of Labella.
As for Rama, he said he has not talked with the mayor yet and he has no plans to visit the mayor’s home.
