‘Pusher’ shot dead

A 42-year-old man was shot dead by an unidentified man in barangay Luray 2, Toledo City, Cebu yesterday morning.

Nilo Gaco just finished having breakfast at a nearby carenderia when he was waylaid by the gunman while he was passing an alley on his way to his friend Alejandro Marinay’s house.

He sustained six gunshot wounds in the different parts of his body.

SP03 Henry Acosta, chief investigator of Toledo City Police Office, said Marinay was known drug pusher in the area and was out on bail for a drug case.

Gaco is also a suspected drug pusher and reported gets his supply from Marinay.

Police are conducting a deeper investigation on the incident.
