Boy with leukemia asks help for chemo

A 14-YEAR-OLD boy from barangay Talamban, Cebu City is in need of medical assistance for his chemotherapy.

Richmund Lejarde was diagnosed to have acute lymphoblastic leukemia during his birthday last month. Leukemia has a high chance of cure if proper treatment is given.

Lejarde has to undergo three years of chemotherapy treatment.

For now, Lejarde’s grandaunt, who earns money from selling various products, shoulders the cost of his chemotherapy.
However, she won’t be able to sustain his medication without the help of others.

Lejarde’s father died when he was six years old, while his mother remarried and has a family of her own now.
Lejarde is asking kindhearted individuals to help him by donating for his chemotherapy.

Those who wish to help Lejarde may coordinate with the Kapwa Ko, Mahal Ko Foundation at the Cebu City Health with contact numbers 2324706, 4129020 and (0917) 6257090 or deposit donations directly to Unionbank at account no. 00-112-000066-2. Please indicate the name of the patient in the deposit slip.
