The Cebu City Development Council (CDC) has assured that the submitted development projects of the city’s barangays, non-government organizations (NGOs) and people’s organizations (POs) are included in the city’s proposed annual budget for 2015.
This despite having only P610 million as Local Development Fund (LDF) for the P3.2 billion worth of projects submitted by the barangays, NGOs and POs which were duly approved by the CDC to be included in their proposed P35.9 billion Annual Investment Plan (AIP) for 2015.
CDC head Engr. Kenneth Carmelita Enriquez explained that the remaining balance of P2.6 billion are included in the proposed budget of the City Hall’s different departments.
The executive department has propose an P18.9 billion budget for next year.
