Forty-nine displaced residents of sitios Mahusay and Mahayag in barangay Subangdaku received financial assistance worth P10,000 from the Mandaue City government yesterday afternoon.
Forty-eight were from sitio Mahusay and only one is from sitio Mahayag. They waited almost two months assistance given to informal settlers who are displaced.
Vincent Guy Aquino of the Housing and Urban Development Office (HUDO) said that 74 beneficiaries from sitio Mahayag, Marna and Mahusay will also receive a livelihood assistance.
