“The idea of the exhibit is to bring together historical anecdotes and miracle stories related to the devotion to the Santo Niño,” according to Florencio Moreno II, Program OIC of the Culture & Heritage Unit of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI).

During the opening, a performance of the Sinug traditional dance was also witnessed. The Sinug is a traditional dance that depicts the rediscovery of the Santo Niño and the eventual conversion of the Cebuanos and the Philippines to the Catholic faith.

The exhibit is also in partnership with Casa Gorordo Museum.

The Sto. Niño exhibit is just one of the many exciting events lined up in SM City Cebu this Sinulog week.
