CEBU CITY, Philippines — The Gymnastics Academy of Cebu hauled nine medals in the recently concluded Dream Cup International Gymnastics Competition in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The medal haul was headed by Cebu Gymnastics Academy’s head coach and team manager Mikhaela Kirsten Silverio, who bagged a gold medal in the ball apparatus category of the senior division’s rhythmic gymnastics competition.

Her gymnast Athena Andrea Adolfo also bagged a gold medal in the rope category of the rhythmic gymnastics competition under-10 division.
Besides her gold medal, Silverio also bagged two silver medals in the hoops and ribbon apparatus.
Meanwhile, Adolfo earned two bronzes in the ball and hoop apparatus and was named “Miss Elegant Award.”
Also contributing to their medal haul was Mariah Laurrice Cueva who won two silver medals and one bronze medal in the senior category.

She earned her two silver medals in the ball and clubs apparatus, while her bronze came from the hoop apparatus.
During the three-day competition, the gymnasts of the Cebu Gymnastics Academy was accompanied by fellow coach Jeannete Adolfo and medical personnel Michelle Lyn Ceniza.
Over 500 gymnasts from 10 countries competed in the Dream Cup International Competition, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia 2023.
