Next, Lake Sports competition in Las Vegas

Next is the two-day Nevada International Dragon Boat Festival in Lake Sports in Las Vegas on October 14-15, 2023.

Unlike their Irwindale campaign, the team will compete in more categories, particularly the 200m, 500m, and 2,000m under the breast cancer survivors and women’s categories.

“Cebu Pink Paddlers will continue to inspire the community and the world through their participation in these races, demonstrating that through dragon boat racing, they can show the world that they are stronger than cancer, and that there is a vibrant life after a cancer diagnosis,” added Sy.

The team is comprised mostly of women who are breast cancer survivors.
