CEBU CITY, Philippines—The University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu Mandaue (UCLM) Webmasters gun for their sixth straight win as they take on the Doon Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) Greywolves in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (Cesafi) high school basketball on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Cebu Coliseum.
The UCLM Webmasters are on top the Cesafi high school basketball standings with an immaculate 5-0 (win-loss) record so far.
The Webmasters of head coach Caleb Gawangan will try to keep their record clean as they face a Greywolves team that is struggling so far this Cesafi season with a 0-5 record.

UCLM is coming from a huge win against sister-team UC main, a victory that sent a strong message to the rest of the league.
UCLM will once again bank on the performances of Arnold Miñoza and Revo Lao, who are the consistent double-digit scorers of the team.
Meanwhile, DBTC is coming from a 64-57 loss to the University of San Carlos (USC) Baby Warriors.
UCLM and DBTC’s game is scheduled at 12:30 PM, followed by University of Southern Philippines-Foundation (USP-F) Baby Panthers and Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) Wildkittens’ showdown in the other high school game at 2:00 PM.
USJ-R VS. VERALLO
Meanwhile, the No. 2 ranked team in the college division, the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Jaguars, eye a bounce back performance after being clobbered by the defending champions, University of the Visayas (UV) Green Lancers, 62-88, last October 14.
This time, the Jaguars will face the Felipe R. Verallo Foundation College Blue Dragons at 3:00 p.m.
The Jaguars are 4-1 in the team standings, while the Blue Dragons have a 0-4 record.
The other college game on Saturday is between the Cebu Institute of Technology-University Wildcats against the Benedicto College Cheetahs at 5 p.m.
