THE Department of Social Welfare and Development in Central Visayas (DSWD-7) is calling on all photographers to join its 1st Listahanan at Work photo contest.
The contest aims to promote transparency on the implementation of Listahanan’s second round of household assessment.
All photography enthusiasts, except DSWD staff, may join the contest.
Application forms can be downloaded from www.fo7.dswd.gov.ph. Filled-up forms and sample photos can be sent to fo7@dswd.gov.ph with a subject title of the photographer’s name in the e-mail.
Applicants with the best sample photos will qualify for the regional photo contest.
Participants will be briefed about the contest mechanics before being deployed to the field to take photos.
After the field tour, participants shall submit three of their best photos to their assigned guide and the judges will pick at least one photo as their entry.
All entries must depict the contest theme, “Listahanan at work: identifying families in need of social protection.”
Application forms and sample photos must be submitted not later than June 14.
