Homegrown restaurant Dimsum Break opened its first branch in Eastern Visayas recently. Located in the rebuilding city of Tacloban, Dimsum Break brings to the City of Hope the widest variety of dimsum dishes served in a fast, interactive setup. Situated in Robinsons Place Tacloban, this Dimsum Break branch hopes to become a favorite destination for mall-goers looking to unwind in between shopping and recreational activities.

Dimsum Break is the fastfood brand of Harbour City Dimsum House Co., Inc. (HCDHCI), which also operates Ding Qua Qua Dimsum House and Harbour City Dimsum House restaurants. HCDHCI pioneered the dimsum cuisine in its home market of Cebu and is now celebrating its 46th year in the business. The opening of the Bacolod branch is the company’s 3rd franchise branch and brings HCDHCI’s nationwide branch network to 19, with 1 in Manila and 17 in Visayas and 1 in Mindanao. The company aims to open more locations in major cities around the country as it expands its nationwide footprint.
