The Association of Barangay Council (ABC) confirmed that it had terminated the services of radio blocktimer Roger Cimafranca for berating and threatening a traffic enforcer.
A three-person committee formed to investigate the May 9 incident between Cimafranca and traffic enforcer Lyndon Ocampo made the recommendation after viewing Ocampo’s video which he uploaded online.
Also suspended were ABC accounting bookkeeper Alvin Enanoria and ABC clerk Phillip Rj Cardona for one month without pay.

Cimafranca and the two ABC personnel were caught on video berating and threatening Ocampo of the Cebu City Traffic Operations Management (Citom).
Ocampo apprehended the three for overloading and not wearing helmets in the South Road Properties (SRP) area.
“The video speaks for itself and this will no be tolerated. This, as noted, is actually a form of oppression, conduct unbecoming of a public servant and abuse of authority,” read the committee’s report.
Tinago barangay chairman and ABC vice president Joel Garganera, who heads the investigating committee, said the recommendation is final and executory.
He said they decided to also suspend Enanoria and Cardona since they were not wearing helmets.
