CLOSE to P1 million worth of suspected shabu were seized while two men were arrested in separate anti-illegal drug operations in Cebu City last Tuesday.
Alfredo Gabutan was arrested outside his house in barangay Guadalupe after he allegedly sold a pack of suspected shabu to an operative of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (CAIDSOTF), who acted as buyer at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Two big packs believed to contain shabu worth P600,000 were allegedly recovered from the suspect, police said.
Senior Insp. Eunil Avergonzado, chief of CAIDSOTF, said the barangay officials had complained against the man’s alleged illegal drug activities.
About six hours later, police arrested Ronnie Villaber after packs of suspected shabu were allegedly found in his house in barangay Bacayan.
Police said packs of suspected shabu worth P141,000 were seized from the suspect’s house during the raid.
