Cebu Blue Marlins top 1st Sandugo swimfest

THE Cebu Blue Marlins Swimming Club emerged victorious in the 1st Sandugo Novice and Age-Group Swimfest held last July 18 at the Carlos P. Garcia Sports Complex in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.

In the novice category, CBM garnered a total of 17 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze medals to be declared champions.
Marie Nicole Valmoria led the Cebuano team as she won four gold medals while Dionifel Kate Saraga, Rein Ezabela Villano and Jo Arriene Cabanes added three golds each.

Reesee Kursten Maree Navarro bagged two gold medals while Alexa Angel Asibal  and Nathan Eldridge Mitnick Pernites added one each.

Because of their multiple-gold haul, Saraga (7-8 years girls), Villano (9-10 years girls), Cabanes (11-12 years girls) and Valmoria (13 years and over girls) were named most outstanding swimmers in their respective categories.

The results for the advanced age-group categories was not available at press time.
