Two minor girls aged 6 and 8 were accompanied by their mother to Hoops Dome Police Station in Lapu-Lapu City last Sunday to report that the girl’s stepfather raped them.
Marcela (real name withheld), mother of the two victims, said that the younger girl complained of pain in her private part every time she urinates.
When Marcela asked what happened, the girl revealed that last Saturday, she and her older sister were molested by their stepfather, a casual employee of the Lapu-Lapu City government.
The girl said their stepfather threatened to kill them if they tell their mother about it.
The two girls also told the police that they were also molested by the suspect several months ago.
The girls were brought to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center for medical examination while the suspect was arrested in his house.
He denied the accusation saying Marcela just wanted to pin him down as they are no longer in good terms.
