German kills self in Bulacao

A German national was found hanging inside his apartment in barangay Bulacao, Talisay City at around 10 a.m last Wednesday.

Martin Herman Buerk, 60, was already dead when discovered by the staff of the apartment.

PO2 Rommel Fuentes said that Buerk had already attempted to kill himself in the past but was saved.

Fuentes said the staff tried to check on Buerk because he did not go out that morning which he usually does.

Police believe that financial problem forced the foreigner to kill himself as he has confided to a neighbor that he cannot go back to his country as he lacked enough funds.

But his body will still be subjected to an autopsy to determine the cause of his death.
