PINK CUBE. The Cube in SM Seaside City Cebu is illuminated in “pink” during night time for the whole month of October in support of Pink October or the Breastcancer Awareness Week. SM malls in Cebu join the worldwide campaign in the observance of Pink October. Initially, the aim of Pink October was to increase the early detection of breast cancer by encouraging women to have mammograms. Over the years, the focus of this event has widened, given the large number of organizations involved.
