Over the Weekend, classic sports cars lovers gathered in Cebu for two special motoring events–the Montebello Villa Hotel Concours d’Elegance and the Tour de Cebu 1,000-kilometer rally.

The Concours d’Elegance was held at the Montebello Villa Hotel in Banilad, Cebu City on Friday while the Tour de Cebu started Saturday at the Cebu Business Park and ended at the Chateau de Busay late last night. The two events were presented by Cebu’s premier car club, Performance and Classics Enthusiasts Club (PACE), which celebrated its 10th anniversary during the weekend.

Concours d´Elegance means “a competition of elegance.” It is a gathering of prestigious cars that date back to the 17th century. The Tour de Cebu is a historic sports car rally inspired by the notable Mille Miglia event in Italy. The route of the rally covered both Cebu and the Negros Island Region.

Here are some photos of the events captured by Cebu Daily News lensman Christian Maningo.
