A 19-YEAR-OLD attendant of a fastfood chain located in a mall in Lapu-Lapu City was electrocuted inside the store last Tuesday night.

Brian Daño, a resident of barangay Agus, Lapu-Lapu City, was declared dead at the Lapu-Lapu City Hospital.

PO2 Marven Saraum said that according to a co-worker, Daño tried to reach for his shoes that he kept behind a cold beverage machine or post mix machine when he accidentally touched a wire.

Police said some parts of the wire had been peeled off.

Police said there was no sign of foul play in the death.

Store management agreed to shoulder the burial expenses and gave financial assistance to the victim’s family.
