City Hall workers pass drug test

By: Marc Eric Cosep October 15,2015 - 01:51 AM

NO ONE tested positive for drug use in a surprise drug test conducted among Cebu City Hall officials and workers last Tuesday.

Among those who underwent the random drug testing were Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama and Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella.

The test was administered by Cebu City Office on Substance Abuse Prevention.

The test was in accordance with City Ordinance 1829, which was authored by then-city councilor Labella and enacted in 2000, requiring City Hall workers and officials to undergo annual drug tests.
