Gateway Group, a Cebuano automotive business company, is accelerating its plans for expansion with a new identity and the addition of new brands and dealerships in Cebu.
The family-run car dealership business started in 2004 and is known for being one of the most comprehensive and all-around automotive companies in the region.
The Gateway Group is among the top-of-mind automotive companies because of its broad range of car brands and best deals, including trade-ins. It is also known for its used car dealership of all brands.
“We cover all markets. We have European, Japanese, Korean brands,” said Michael Goho, vice president for marketing and development of Gateway Group. “We want to make it easy for Cebuanos to own a car and we want to give them a broad range of options.”
Gateway Group is the exclusive dealer of Kia, BMW and Peugeot in Cebu.
In line with its bid for expansion, the company is adding new dealerships in Cebu. These are Mahindra at the North Reclamation Area in Mandaue City, Mahindra in Gorordo, Mahindra in Talisay City and Peugeot Gorordo. It is also opening dealerships of Nissan, Kia and BMW at the brand-new SM Seaside City Cebu.
“We want to grow our market. Be closer to our customers.” Goho said. “We want to be known not just for the Kia brand, but for other car brands that we carry as well.”
The company now operates close to 20 showrooms around Cebu, Bohol and Palawan. It plans to continue its expansion in the Vis-Min area in the future.
