ONE person was injured while a bunkhouse was destroyed when a fire hit the office compound of First Reliance Checkers and Surveyors in sitio Basbas in Barangay Pagsabungan in Mandaue City.
The fire also burned clothes and other valuables owned by at least seven employees who occupy the bunkhouse.
The fire alarm broke past 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
Fire fighters responded to the alarm and prevented it from spreading to nearby structures. But investigators have yet to determine the cause of the flame.
