Cuppa Folk Returns to Degree 9

Lourdes Maglinte Cuppa Folk

How does your pre-summer calendar look like? Paint it with music and save these dates! Cuppa Folk, 22 Tango Records’ coffee shop series returns to Degree 9 Coffee this March 5 and 19.

Cuppa Folk has a whole new degree of storytelling through songs with its new line-up of artists and storytellers ready to take our hearts on a raw and blissful ride of authentic modern folk tunes.

Vincent Eco, Kurt Ebarita, Lourdes Maglinte, and the Wonggoys will bare their souls and wear their hearts on their sleeves as they serve up the music this March 5th; while Silingan ni Felicity, Mic Kindica, Honeydrop, and Mary Anchit will be taking the floor on the 19th.

Cuppa Folk was created to provide a sacred space for songs to thrive, stories to flourish, and songwriters to be embraced.  Because we feel that these songs are valuable, conscious listening is what’s encouraged from the listeners; thus, the #shhhhpolicy will be implemented as artists share their stories without the fear of being vulnerable in front of an audience.
22 Tango Records music merchandise will also be sold at the venue.

Good music is just around the corner in your neighborhood. Make the month of March count by letting homegrown music keep you company by dropping by for your cup of folk at Degree 9 Coffee. Event starts at 6:30 in the evening.
