Crop damages reach P186M in Cebu

CROP damages worth P186 million were sustained by 22 towns in Cebu due to the dry spell, the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office said.

PDRRMO chief Baltazar Tribunalo said results of their rapid assessment showed that Asturias town sustained P4 million worth of crop losses while mango farms in Compostela town northern Cebu sustained heavy losses caused by the dry spell.
