A man shot to death last Sunday evening his 36-year-old uncle in Barangay Camugao, Pinamungajan town in southwestern Cebu.
Jerry Villarama, 36, shot his uncle, Charlie Cabilino, in the head three times killing Cabilino instantly in Cabilino’s house in Sitio Kapayas, said PO1 Ian Patrick Carvellida of the Pinamungajan police.
Cavellida said that Villarama had been harboring a personal grudge against Cabilino after the victim allegedly created trouble against the Villarama family.
Cavellida said that the victim’s neighbors heard four gunshots and Villarama shouting that he would shoot anybody who would help the victim.
Police recovered a .38 caliber revolver with four empty shells and two live bullets in the victims house.
Villarama fled after the shooting, but he surrendered to police last Monday.
He was detained at the Pinamungajan police detention cell pending the filing of charges.
