An ALLEGED suspect in the series of motorcycle thefts in Talisay City was shot dead by motorcycle-riding gunmen.
PO3 Erwin Carbonquillo of Talisay City Police Station said that Jesrich Aradaza, 26, originally from Butuan City but was temporarily residing in Barangay Mohon, Talisay City, died after he was shot in the head and body by unidentified assailants at 1 a.m. in Barangay Lawa-an 1, Talisay City.
Carbonquillo said Aradaza was a suspect in a series of robberies in Talisay City and in the stealing of motorcycles in the area.
Two men on a motorcycle tailed Aradaza who was also on a motorcycle and fired at him when they reached Lawa-an, said Carbonquillo.
Police are still investigating the shooting.
