Pantino to strut wares in Indonesia

CEBUANO junior netter Arthur Craig Pantino hopes to gain more experience when he goes to Jakarta, Indonesia later this month to take part in two international tournaments.

Pantino, currently ranked by the Philippine Tennis Association (PHILTA) as the third best tennis player in the 18-under boys’ category, will be competing in the Thamin International Junior Championships on May 24 to 29 and the AGS International Junior Championships on May 31 to June 5.

The 15-year-old Pantino said that the contests will feature the best players in Asia. He added he is upbeat of his chances of winning a championship in either of the two tournaments.

“It will be hard but I’ll treat it one game at a time,” Pantino said.
