A CEBUANO businessman and one of the founders of Bisaya Na Pud movement was chosen as a Cabinet member of presumptive president Rodrigo Duterte.

Duterte confirmed his choice of businessman Michael Dino as Cabinet member in an announcement he made at Matina Enclaves in Davao City at past 8 pm last Monday.

Dino told Cebu Daily News that he was caught unaware of the announcement. “He (Duterte) wants to make sure that there’s a Visayan voice in Malacañang,” he said in a phone interview.

Dino said he will propose to Duterte to open the Malacañang sa Sugbo and make it as his office. Dino is a Cebuano businessman who graduated at Sacred Heart School for Boys in 1985.
