THE MUNICIPALITY of Balamban protected its home court as it leads the medal standings of the first annual Cebu Provincial Summer Games (CPSG) 2016 in Balamban, western Cebu.
Balamban is currently on top with a haul of three golds, five silvers and one bronze medal.
The home squad got bulk of its gold medals from its athletics team, which accounted for two. The girls chess team chipped in a gold.
The town of Compostela is in second place with three golds and two silvers while Liloan and Carmen are tied for third with two golds each.
Boxing action will be held today at the Cebu City Sports Center.
