The Cleveland Cavaliers completed the greatest comeback in NBA Finals history, winning the epic Game 7 against the defending champion Golden State Warriors, 93-89, on Monday (Philippine time) at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.

The Cavs, left for dead after trailing 1-3 in this best-of-seven series, stayed close all throughout the game, played good defense down the stretch and banked on a huge three pointer by all-star guard Kyrie Irving in the closing seconds of the game to pull off the monumental win and dethrone Warriors that won a record 73 games in the regular season.

Irving finished with 26 points and LeBron James, who secured the game with a freethrow with 10 seconds left, topscored for the Eastern Conference champions with 27 points.

Draymond Green led the Western Conference champions Warriors with 32 points but reigning MVP Steph Curry managed just 17 and missed several threes down the stretch.
