A LIVELIHOOD training center and daycare building will soon be erected in Barangay Pajo, Lapu-Lapu City.

Sen. Sonny Angara, assisted by Mayor Paz Radaza, Vice Mayor Marcial Ycong, Pajo Barangay Captain Junard “Ahong” Chan and barangay officials broke ground last Friday to mark the start of the project.

The two-story building, which has a livelihood training center on the second floor and four daycare classrooms on the ground floor, is a joint project of Senator Angara and Lapu-Lapu City government.

Angara alloted P5 million for the project, while the local government will shoulder the remaining cost to finish the project.

Chan said that the project will start by next month, and it will be finished within 180 days.

A free livelihood and call center academy training can be availed by Barangay Pajo residents once the program starts.

Angara also brought about a hundred books for the Pajo Elementary School.
