ANOTHER Korean hit drama series will be joining the Kapuso primetime television show lineup during weeknights.

“Descendants of the Sun,” features the action-packed love story of Special Forces member of South Korean Army Yoo Si Jin (played by Song Joong-Ki) and female doctor Kang Mo-Yeon (Song Hye-Kyo), will start airing tomorrow right after the telefantasya prequel of “Encantadia.”

The popular K-drama series is expected to air on TV with lines dubbed in Tagalog.

The 16-episode series also narrated later in the story, the struggles of the surgeon Kang Mo-Yeon and UN peacekeeping leader Yoo Si Jin at the beautiful terrain and landscapes of Uruk in the Balkans and also the beautiful isolated beach that belongs to Navagio beach (that means shipwreck beach) in Greece.

The Korean drama series had also put together the forbidden and enticing love story of Sergeant Major Seo Dae-young as Jin Goo and Kim Ji-won as First Lieutenant Yoon Myeong-ju.

A GMA News report stated that the Kapuso network acquired the rights to air the KBS’s blockbuster drama series, that got high ratings and is very popular among fans of Korean drama series.

Earlier reports stated that the network has also acquired the rights to the local adaptation of the Korean hit “My Love From the Star.” It has been rumored that Pambansang Bae Alden Richards will play the role of the male lead act Do Min-joon formerly portrayed by Kim Soo-hyun.
