CEBU City Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella said he is still looking into the request of Barangay San Roque for a vehicle to be used for patrol and emergencies.
Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña earlier ordered the General Services Office (GSO) not to release city government-owned vehicles to anyone without his consent.
Osmeña issued the memorandum last July 22, a day before he and his family left for Japan.
GSO acting head Ronald Malacora said Osmeña warned him that he will be charged “criminally, administratively, and civilly” if he disobeys his order.
Malacora confirmed that 30 vehicles were reissued to barangay officials allied with the Bando Osmeña-Pundok Kauswagan (BO-PK).
