In the meantime, Energy Secretary Sharon Garin clarified that the most recent price adjustments will stay put until June 29 as the situation in the Middle East, particularly the Strait of Hormuz, remains volatile.

“The adjustments today will reflect last week’s market… hindi po dapat maiba ang presyo from Tuesday tomorrow to Monday next week,” she told reporters in a briefing on Monday, June 22.

“So steady lang po yung pressure na ng from Tuesday tomorrow up to Monday next week (June 29),” Garin added.

Supply

The latest round of rollback also comes as the country maintains sufficient fuel inventory.

As of June 19, 2026, DOE data showed the Philippines had a combined average daily demand of 78,080.13 liters across all fuel types, with a total expected available days supply of 43.86 days.

By product, gasoline stocks are good for 43.75 days, while diesel can cover 40.42 days of demand.

Kerosene had the most comfortable buffer at 128.96 days, followed by jet fuel at 68.30 days.

LPG supply stood at 42.86 days, while fuel oil had the slimmest buffer at 38.21 days.
