Former Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama challenged Mayor Tomas Osmeña to a “one-on-one” drug test on Saturday.

In a press conference on Friday morning at the Rama Ancestral House in Barangay Basak San Nicolas, Cebu City, Rama said he has read newspaper articles about Osmeña challenging him to take a drug test.

He said he wants to settle it once and for all.

“I’m very serious about it. I’ll wait for him at the Plaza Independencia kiosk at 9 a.m. tomorrow (Saturday),” said Rama.

He said he will be asking private clinics like Hi Precision or Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) to conduct the test.

Rama said he is willing to submit himselt to take the test and provide any sample may that be urine or hair just to settle the issue and put an end to the accusations that he is a drug addict.

Rama said that if Osmeña won’t show up, then it means Osmeña is afraid and that he is the drug addict.
