HAPPY Skin has been collaborating with local talents from the beauty and fashion industry since 2013 and now their first partnership with a global brand is giving women and young girls alike more reason to love this skin-caring makeup brand. The latest Disney Collection is giving us a major throwback feel on the happily ever-afters of Belle, Rapunzel, Snow White, Aurora, Cinderella, and Ariel; then of course, there’s Elsa and Anna of Arendelle.
Happy Skin is a partnership between co-founders, Jacqe Yuengtian-Gutierrez and Rissa Mananquil-Trillo. Jacqe has expertise in brand development while Rissa has a 15-year experience in beauty and cosmetics aside from being a model and columnist. This reared Happy Skin to be an original brand of skin-loving make-up especially made for Filipina.

That’s why the products are formulated in Asian beauty capitals like Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Last December, Happy Skin opened its first boutique in Cebu at the Upper Ground Floor of SM City North Wing. It’s their 12th boutique in the country.
Jacqe explained that while working on the product range, they consulted with Disney on shade selection such that every hot-colored lippie matches the personality of each Disney Princess. Happy Skin ensured that the lippies still offer the brand’s trademark formula that offers highly pigmented color with an exceptionally hydrating feel. Each is infused with a modern feel through the different colors and textures we can choose from. We are falling in love with this collection—a love at first sight!
