DRUG-DEALING ‘GOLDEN’ WOMAN DRAWS FLAK
News of a 54-year-old woman who was arrested with P1 million worth of drugs in Barangay Duljo Fatima, Cebu City, had some netizens wondering if she or any other woman in her golden years , or even older, still feared God or are THAT desperate to earn money to survive.
Grace Jeniffer wrote: “Wala ka na hadlok sa ginoo ate? nindot ning daghan ug kwarta mother but ug ingon ana nga paagi ma looy kas imong kaugalingon (Don’t you fear God, sister? It’s good to have lots of money mother but by that means, have mercy on yourself).”
Another netizen, Charita Olis, also wrote that it would have been better for the woman to do laundry for others than to sell drugs.
Earl Preston also wrote: “Manang sa imong ka tigulang dapat na unta ka mag binot-an kai hapit naka hukuman sa Ginoo, manang please stop (Ma’am at your age you should try to be good. The time is near for God to judge you, ma’am, so please stop).”
