Sarah Geronimo and James Reid start shooting for first film together

FANS of Sarah Geronimo and James Reid are in for a treat as the two stars have already started shooting their first film together titled “Miss Granny.”
Photos during the taping have been shared on several Instagram pages giving hints on the ongoing project.

A photo shared by @avonazhe on Instagram showed both Viva stars, together with the film’s director, Joyce Bernal.

“Hayme’s ganap last night,” the caption read. Hayme is a nickname fans use to call James.

Several posts were also made by @chaleagh on Instagram about Geronimo.

“Hi Miss Granny! #SarahG #SarahGeronimo #PopstarRoyalty #SG #TeamSarah,” the post read, referring to Geronimo wearing a blue dress and red shoes.

The same page reposted the photo of film producer Neil Arce on Instagram with the caption,”SG!”

A blockbuster hit in South Korea in 2014, “Miss Granny” is about a 74-year-old widow who finds herself inside the body of a 20-year-old woman.

Korean actress Shim Eun-kyung played the film’s lead. It has also been compared to “17 Again” starring Zac Efron.

Geronimo’s most recent film was “Finally Found Someone.” Released in July this year, it also starred her perennial onscreen partner, John Lloyd Cruz.

“Miss Granny” is Reid’s first film where he is not being paired with real-life girlfriend, Nadine Lustre.
