Metro Sports anniversary badminton to feature parent and child category
PARENTS and their children will be able to bond through badminton as the Metro Sports 16th Anniversary Annual Badminton Tournament will be featuring a parent and child category.
The badminton tournament, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 24, is the opening salvo of Metro Sports’ 16th anniversary in the fitness/wellness industry.
The parent and child category will have four divisions: father and son/daughter(under 12) doubles, father and son/daughter(under 15) Doubles, mother and son/daughter(under 12) doubles, and mother and son/daughter(under 15) doubles.
The tournament will have doubles competition in Levels C/D, E, F and G for men, women and mixed.
There will also be two executive categories; men’s doubles 45 and up and the ladies’ doubles 40 and up.
Cash prizes and medals await the champions and runners-up for each level.
The tournament is made possible by their major sponsors, Pocari Sweat, Club Ultima, Prana Medispa.
It is is also brought in part by Ms. Mariam Acompañado, Mr. Steve Tiu, Dr. Dy, Ayan Tan Group, Mr. Peter Jantol and Ms. Pauline Hoffer.
