Kimpoy Feliciano joins upcoming Kylie Padilla-Ruru Madrid series

AFTER his stint in GMA Network’s primetime series, “Inday Will Always Love You” (IWALY), social media personality-turned-actor Kimpoy Feliciano will be joining another teleserye.

Titled “TODA One I Love,” the series will be headlined by Kylie Padilla and Ruru Madrid.

Feliciano confirmed to Cebu Daily News yesterday that he will be playing the role of Dino, younger brother of Madrid’s character.

As Madrid’s younger brother, Feliciano’s character is expected to give advice.

Feliciano and Madrid previously worked together in “IWALY” and “Barangay 143,” an anime basketball series.

“He (Madrid) is a nice person, laging maraming jokes, maingay, at makwela,” he said.

“TODA One I Love” is Feliciano’s first project with Padilla.

“Si Kylie naman we only met each other sa storycon. Di pa kami nakapag-work before kaya I’m very excited to be working with these two respected stars of GMA,” he said.

The tandem of Padilla and Madrid became popular among fans of the 2016 version of the telefantasya, “Encantadia.”

From Frank to Dino

In “IWALY,” Feliciano portrayed Frank, a rich guy who owns a luxury and loves going to bars.

For “TODA One I Love,” his character Dino will be totally different.

“Anak ng tricycle driver, nerdy, sa kanto nakatambay, and siya naman ang humahabol-habol kay Tiffy (Jackie Rice),” he said.

Feliciano believes that just like “IWALY,” “TODA One I Love” will also be a hit among viewers.

“I am very grateful to be part of another series with such an amazing cast. Walang pressure kasi ang ganda ng story kaya sigurado ako na magiging successful din ‘yung show na ‘to. I’m very excited to be acting again. Hopefully, I’ll be able to apply lahat ng mga natutunan ko from IWALY,” he said.

Last week, Kapuso PR Girl announced the cast of “TODA One I Love,” which also includes David Licauco, Tina Paner, Buboy Villar, and Gladys Reyes.

Produced by GMA News and Public Affairs and directed by Jeffrey Hidalgo, “TODA One I Love” will air next year.
