of three sitios in Mambaling, Cebu City start picking up the pieces after their homes were ripped off from roofs by a tornado, Tuesday afternoon.
Barangay chairman Willie Go said the barangay council will convene today to declare the affected areas under calamity status to speed up the allocation of cash assistance to affected residents of sitios Viking, Nava and Alaska.
The tornado ripped through homes made of light materials and damaged the sports complex in sitio Viking. The debris were moved aside allowing motorists to pass the interior roads of sitio Viking./ Correspondent Michelle Padayhag
